Four booklets have been published to cover the permanent galleries of the Simon Janashia State Museum of Georgia, with the exception of the Archaeological Treasury, the Islamic and Oriental Collection and the Museum of Soviet Occupation. These resource packs offer advice for teachers on how to plan lessons in the galleries, subjects to discuss with the children and suggestions for gallery-based quizzes and activities. The four titles are:

  • The Old Stone Age Gallery (Peter Leeming)
  • Georgia from 10,000BC until 400AD (Peter Leeming & Emma Loosley)
  • The Egyptian Collection (Peter Leeming & Emma Loosley)
  • Words and Pictures in Medieval Georgia (Emma Loosley)
