The Georgian Church at Ani
Named after the Georgian inscriptions found on it. It is in an exceptionally poor state of repair, hence the need for struts to hold up the one remaining section of the north wall.

Church of St. Gregory of Tigran Honents
An inscription on the Eastern wall of the church tells us that the church was built by a wealthy merchant, Tigran Honents, in 1215 AD. At the time Ani was under Georgian control and the church is believed to have been Georgian orthodox originally with the impressive and well preserved frescos within speculated as having been painted by Georgian artists.

Tolebi Castle/Telephis 
A small fort atop a presumably man made mound emphasised by a ditch surrounding it's exposed sides to the south. Offers good views to the north and west.

Dzveli Khibula Castle
The site lies on a flattened hilltop with commanding views of the valley below, views which would have been even better from the main tower.

Khomakirde Castle
Khomakirde Castle is in a significant state of disrepair but remains of walls and towers exist above ground in places. Its position at the end of a ridge above a wide valley means it has impressive uninterrupted views in many directions.

Khorsi/Gaghma Sajijao Castle
Khorsi/Gaghma Sajijao castle is in a poor state of repair and hidden in dense woodland. Its only tower seems to have seen some recent looting.

Chakvinja Castle
Chakvinja castle is the well preserved citadel of a larger but poorly preserved fortified enclosure. These images are primarily of the citadel but there are some of a tower found below the citadel in the modern cemetery.
